// FOUNDER
CASSANDRA TAYLOR
At the heart of why I built this business is a genuine enjoyment of supporting people and seeing a direct impact. I help small business owners feel less overwhelmed so they can reserve energy for growing their businesses.
My background blends technology, business, and teaching, which means I naturally focus on how systems work and how people experience them.
I’ve worked in a variety of roles – systems manager, educator, and technology consultant. In between, I took a meaningful career break to raise a family – a rewarding season that strengthened my ability to plan, adapt, and support others with patience and clarity.
Returning to corporate tech consulting in a fully remote capacity a few years ago reinforced how much I value work that is both flexible and impactful. I love working with small business owners across many industries to provide dependable website and administrative support as they grow.
Clients appreciate that I:
- Communicate clearly and consistently
- Adapt quickly to different tools, industries, and working styles
Care deeply about doing things well

// SILVER THATCH
What's in a Name?
The name “Silver Thatch Solutions” is a loving nod to Cassandra’s roots (pun intended) and embodies characteristics she admires.
The Silver Thatch Palm is the national tree of the Cayman Islands. Its fan-shaped leaves with silver undersides make it majestically stand out in the landscape and its strong root system enables it to weather storms. The leaves were used by Caymanians to make durable rope, protective roofing, and baskets that carried harvests and belongings.
Ingenuity… resilience… a “get-the-job-done” attitude… are characteristics we aim to mirror in our work.
